Clubs back MPs call for further regulation of football finances

The response of clubs to the Survey ‘Funding football from the grassroots to the Championship’, carried out on behalf of the All Party Football Group (APFG) makes clear that a good proportion of non-Premier League clubs think the APFG’s recommendations for changes in the game would be good for football as a whole.

The Survey ‘Funding football from the grassroots to the Championship’ was carried out by Vision 21, an independent research company on behalf of the All Party Football Group.  Vision 21 surveyed clubs from the Championship down to Step 4 during September and October 2004.  In total, an extensive sample of 109 clubs below the Premiership took part.

The results of the All Party Football Group’s Survey of Clubs following its Report on English Football  & Its Finances is to be launched at a press conference
