All Party Football Group Report into Football & Its Finances

REPORT LAUNCH

 

The Report of the All Party Football Group’s Inquiry into Football and its Finances is to be launched at a press conference at

 

PRESS ONLY

12 noon on Wednesday 11 February in the MacMillan Room of Portcullis House, Westminster.

 

The report will contain almost 30 recommendations about financial aspects of the game.

 

The press conference will be hosted by Alan Keen MP, chair of the All Party Football Group. Other members of the Inquiry Panel will also be present to answer questions.

 

The press conference is open to members of the media only. It will be followed at 1pm by a launch reception which will include invited guests from the football world.

  1. The remit of the Inquiry into Football & Its Finances by the All Party Football Group covered all aspects of football finances with particular reference to:

 

·         The impact of new broadcasting contracts on football’s finances

·         The cost of success in today’s increasingly competitive game

·         The growing divide between the Premiership and the Nationwide League

·         The impact of increasing wage bills on clubs
